Rental Inquiries

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is available for performances, receptions and meetings. Our wide range of spaces can accommodate small gatherings or audiences with upwards of a thousand guests. In addition to our state-of-the-art performance spaces, we offer a full range of services including skilled technical personnel, ticketing and sales, audience services and access to campus security and catering services. Event requests must be submitted at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event date.

Rental Rates

The Clarice Rental Rates are comprised of a package system.

Cost of the space is determined by the following formula:

VENUES + EQUIPMENT & LABOR PACKAGES + FRONT OF HOUSE

Half Day rate (40% discount) is applied to the VENUE cost for events that can occur within a 6 hour block — including set up and clean up time.

University of Maryland Campus and Student Group rental rates available upon request.
